Official Steam news was fetched 14 October 2026. Hotfix 1 is dated 9 October; NPC Tips labels it build 25827516. The official note does not publish a full graphics or accessibility menu. No mod installation, frame-rate test or menu inspection is claimed.
Official performance option: DirectX 11
Hotfix 1 adds a DX11 launcher choice and says players with performance problems should try it, particularly on Steam Deck. It also fixes some softlock scenarios and enemies blocking the Union Apartments elevator. These notes do not guarantee a frame rate or fix every issue.

Difficulty, darkness and ultrawide
Publisher statements relayed by NPC Tips name Relaxed, Tense, Survival Horror and Nightmare. Use the beginner page for the evidence and limitations; exact current menu controls are not tested here.
For a too-dark scene, first distinguish an intended dark-area gate from display settings: the Riverside radio tunnel requires the Flashlight. No brightness or gamma slider is asserted without a menu source.
Ultrawide support remains unconfirmed in the evidence inspected. That is not proof of non-support, and no fix executable is offered.
Mod compatibility remains unresolved
No specific Nexus download was verified for this 2026 game and current build. A missing Steam category does not prove that no mods exist. Similarly named Silverpine tools may concern another project.
