What I checked
On 14 October 2026 I checked the US Steam API and official product links: $24.99 list price, $22.49 sale, Metacritic 86 and 23 achievements. Steam flags Windows as the native PC platform. The official website directs buyers to stores; no official browser edition was found.
Where to start
Standard price on Steam (United States, checked 2026-10-14) is $24.99, with a launch discount to $22.49 (10% off). Steam lists the promotion through 22 October 2026. Other regions differ.
The official site directs buyers to stores, not a web-game build. Xbox lists cloud play for purchasers with Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate; the subscription does not include the game license.
- Buy and download: Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and the other shops listed on the download page.
- Stuck on a keypad: the codes page cites NPC Tips game-file data from build 25806663, including fixed combinations and a motel gate generated per save. The gate is not just a player guess.
- Choosing an ending: NPC Tips reports Leave, Rest and Live routes branching from the late-game conversation with Eddie Velvet. Route details are not independently playtested here.
