Silver Pines platforms and release date
Silver Pines released on 8 October 2026 for Windows PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. Steam Deck is Verified. Xbox cloud support does not mean a game license is included with Game Pass.
Evidence and limits
I checked Steam, Xbox, PlayStation and both Nintendo product pages on 14 October 2026. Steam establishes the PC platform flags; console availability and subscription requirements come from the console storefronts.
Which version can you buy?
All five storefront listings show 8 October 2026 as the release date. A Steam license and a Microsoft PC license are separate purchases; Play Anywhere applies to the Xbox/Microsoft version.
| Platform | Status on 14 Oct 2026 | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Windows (Steam) | Available | Full controller support, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing |
| Steam Deck | Verified | Valve report: category 3; not a native Linux release |
| PS5 | Available | US PlayStation page lists PS5, not PS4 |
| Xbox Series X|S / Microsoft PC | Available | Xbox Play Anywhere |
| Nintendo Switch | Available | UK listing: 4.0 GB download |
| Nintendo Switch 2 | Available | UK listing: 5.5 GB download |
| Mac / native Linux | Not listed on Steam | mac:false and linux:false; Deck certification is separate |
Is Silver Pines included with Game Pass?
The Xbox product page requires a game purchase. It offers cloud play with Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate after purchase; those subscription names describe cloud access, not an included game license.
Download size versus free disk space
Steam requires 5 GB of available disk space for both minimum and recommended configurations. That is not a compressed download size. Nintendo UK lists 4.0 GB for Switch and 5.5 GB for Switch 2. Reliable PS5 and Xbox installation sizes were not obtained; allow room for updates rather than applying the PC figure to consoles.
Questions
Is Silver Pines on Game Pass?
The Xbox listing says game purchase required. Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate enables cloud play for the purchased game; it is not listed there as an included subscription game.
Does it run on Steam Deck?
Valve marks app 2333000 Verified. If performance is poor, the 9 October Steam hotfix recommends trying its DirectX 11 launch option.
Is Silver Pines on PS4?
The current PlayStation product page lists PS5 only. An older trailer title is not proof of a PS4 release.
