The sewers sit under Downtown. The notes require both the crowbar and the crank handle before this stretch moves.
Evidence and limits
Checked 14 October 2026. NPC Tips' Downtown/Sewers file baseline is 25806663, checked 8 October; puzzle baseline checked 9 October. The route, encounters and valve operation are reported. Bonus Action's 12 October update has no build. The achievement concerns retrieving a bell, not a clock; no tested fight script is claimed.
Lower the water at the dock sluice
Bring the Crowbar from the sheriff and Crank Handle from Church Hill. The Town Hall Manhole Cover Key is used in the reported Clinic manhole route.
- Enter the Clinic-side sewer and collect the Heavy Mechanical Cog.
- Return to the dock sluice panel and fit the cog.
- Adjust the cogs until the large right-hand gear turns, then use the Crank Handle. Bonus Action describes moving all three to the bottoms of their slots.
- With the water lowered, enter the dock-side sewer route and collect its map just inside.
Sewer Key, 1467 and all three flow controls
NPC Tips uses room/map names where Bonus Action sometimes says lockbox. The fixed Market Street alley sewer code is 1467; the reported clipboard red path passes digits 1, 4, 6 and 7.
- Take the Sewer Key in the Loomis Street sewer and open the chain-link route under Statue Park.
- Activate flow control A near the opened gate.
- Follow the pipes, pass the cracked-wall/ladder route and activate C.
- Read the pipe clipboard, save and use 1467 at the Market Street sewer lock to reach B.
- Activate B and complete the reported encounter. Return to the control room and confirm all three controls are active.
- Turn all three pressure wheels fully; the reported pressure/hatch sequence opens the Bell E route.
- Complete the reported final sewer encounter and take Cable Station Bell E.
Bell and collection checks
What You Tried to Wash Away is the reported sewer-bell milestone. Rusted Spur is recorded in the Apartment Street sewer; Driftwood Stake is in the Riverside-side sewer. They are not rewards from the Town Hall clock.
The Funeral Home cremation machine is on Church Hill. The ending furnace is beside the burnt-hands man's Outskirts shack. Neither is a sewer furnace puzzle. Boss names and tactics remain unverified here.
