Miner Diner walkthrough

Miner Diner is an Outskirts stop, not a separate chapter. The door key and the shed lock are the two sourced beats.

Evidence and limits

Checked 14 October 2026. NPC Tips' Outskirts records use Hotfix 1 build 25827516, checked 11 October; its code table uses 25806663. The Diner Key has no file-map pickup point, so its rack location and opening route are reported. Bonus Action's 12 October route has no disclosed build. No gameplay verification claimed.

Opening route out of the diner

The Emergency Frequency document is in the diner. Bonus Action reports tuning its kitchen radio to 89.0; this is not the later Riverside 86.6 puzzle.

  1. Search the diner and take the Car Key. Take the Locked Ring Box from the restroom sink for the later Star route.
  2. Use the kitchen coffee machine, one of seven reported stamina upgrades.
  3. Take the Diner Key from the rack above the kitchen radio (reported) and unlock the front door.
  4. Answer the outside payphone to progress the opening case.
  5. Open Walker's trunk with the Car Key. Collect the case documents and reported camera, then continue toward the pharmacy/general store.

Return checks, not opening prerequisites

The Empty Matchstick Box Memento is in the lower floor; Bonus Action reports returning with the Boxcutter to open access. The diner shed's fixed combination is 1972. Its Gear Box is used for the Downtown boat engine, not required to unlock the opening ferry.

A reported shed approach uses the shotgun on its wall. NPC Tips explicitly leaves exact release-build entry unresolved, so do not treat that route as file-verified.
