Silver Pines demo
The demo was a separate free Steam app. It is not a current download. The full game’s store page is the one that is live.
Evidence and limits
On 14 October 2026, Steam appdetails for demo app 4540100 returned success:false. The 1 June launch announcement and 24 September pricing post establish the launch and plan to keep it until 8 October, not an exact removal timestamp. We did not test an already-installed copy.
What the demo contained
NPC Tips reports the Outskirts and Crimson Bear Motel from demo game files, build 23642600. Its cited developer reply of 30 June 2026 says demo saves do not transfer. The roughly two-hour length is a player report, not a time we measured.
- The source's game-file lock data gives shotgun combination 6671.
- The motel gate is generated per save in that file data, not merely guessed by players; the Motel Guest Ledger holds your save's code.
- A complete demo achievement list was not verified in this audit.
Historical demo updates
The official 5 June Demo Patch changed the default display mode and added a film-grain toggle. Demo Patch 2 on 12 June allowed the shotgun to break wooden barricades and fixed map reveal. These historical demo changes are not evidence for a current full-game setting.
Questions
Can I still download the Silver Pines demo?
The demo has no live Steam product response as of 14 October 2026. The publisher said it would stay up until 8 October. Existing-installation access and a future return were not verified.
